I need a stiff durable affordable mast, and I like to ride and test many different brands of foils. So I turned to Jim Stringfellow, or Stringy, for a solution. I had an Axis 19mm aluminum mast, which for me is the best durable, stiff, affordable mast out there, and I wanted to ride F-one foils.
At the time F-one didn’t have a HM mast, so Stringy was my only hope. He delivered beautiful expertly crafted adapters that solved my problem and let me ride my favorite foils on my favorite mast.
The adapters work great for both surf foiling and wing foiling. I originally wrote an article about Stringy’s adapters here.
Since then he sent me an adapter for Code fuselage to Axis aluminum mast, it works and fits perfectly (contact him for the correct adapter).
I have three F-one to Axis mast adapters and now one for Code to Axis mast, they all work great and are excellent quality.
I have been riding adapted since Spring of 2021 and I am super happy with this setup.
