Learn to repair and reconnect our relationship when we get into a fight or something happens that we are struggling to get over. Feel that lovey dovey close connection again, feel safe, restore trust, and grow into each other. Here I share techniques, practices, tools that help us build the relationship we want.
After cluelessly flailing in my first marriage I wanted to know what happened and how I could avoid that pain, and cocreate the relationship I have always believed is possible. So I reached out for help, I was ready to be a student and the teachers appeared. I have trail by fire tested these tools and practices over the past decade and I guarantee they work. I am in the relationship of my dreams and we are cocreating the ship we both always dream of. The more we use these tools and do these practices the more intimate and creative we are, and the closer and safer we both feel, a true power couple.
In the below video I share an example of a fight my girlfriend and I got into and how we used a repair practice to reconnect:

I've had around 20 surf sessions on the AFS Silk 850 foil, and also 3 wing foiling sessions. Also one quick surf foil session on the Silk 650 in head plus conditions.
Here I show video from those sessions and talk about what I like, any short comings, and compare this hydrofoil to the F-One Sk8 850.
Mind Surfing is a practice that will help you become a better surfer, foiler, winger, board rider.
There is an old saying - If you can see it, and believe it, you can achieve it.
This can be especially helpful if we have had experiences that were uncomfortable, say a wipeout, and we want overwrite or rewrite a new possible outcome. By picturing the outcome we want in our mind repeatedly we change our default or goto thoughts and feelings to the ones we want.
I had an experience surfing in Santa Cruz. Just me and 2 other people out on a small inconsistent morning. The other 2 guys paddled for each set as if I didn't exist, no concept of sharing, or a lineup where we take and give turns. After about 20 minutes of this, I set an intention and saw it clear as day in my mind that I was paddling for and going to ride the next wave no matter what. Soon after a wave approached and I laid down on my board and started paddling for the wave, neither of the other 2 guys paddled nor even tried to catch that wave, it felt as if my vibe was so strong that they knew my intention as strongly as I did.
For as long as I can remember I have visualized turns I want to do. When I started foiling there was no way I could even think of doing these turns, I didn't even have a concept for how to do them, nor even how to control the foil to do these turns. I saw others with more experience who could do these turns, I kept imagining myself doing those turns. Within a year or so I could do these turns, and now I can do whatever turn I want, the only limitation is hydrodynamics and the design of the foil itself.
I tested the Foil Drive Gen 2 in flat water, in downwind conditions, and prone surf foiling. Also I am reverse engineering the Foil Drive to asses the value, and ability to hack or upgrade. Let's explore together if the Foil Drive is a viable way to get more waves and time on foil, or all the things the critics say about it.
Big thanks to Cort at 101 Surfsports who lent me the entire prone Foil Drive, board, and foil setup in the photo. Also huge thanks to Evan of Axis at Live2kite who lent me his personal Foil Drive and let put it on my mast and give it a thorough test, also I saw a really cool Axis/FD integration that might be available soon...

Review of the Code 1300 S foil. I tested the Code 1300 hydrofoil winging, and on a short surf session. The video in this review is of me winging the code foil. I talked about how it feels, what conditions I would ride it, and what I believe it's designed for and does well at. Cort at 101 Surfsports let me demo the Code foil.

I need a stiff durable affordable mast, and I like to ride and test many different brands of foils. So I turned to Jim Stringfellow, or Stringy, for a solution. I had an Axis 19mm aluminum mast, which for me is the best durable, stiff, affordable mast out there, and I wanted to ride F-one foils.
A review of the new 2024 F-ONE Seven Seas 1100 hydrofoil (currently on the F-ONE website they are calling it the Seven Seas and the 2022 model is called the SS Carbon). Tested for speed, maneuverability, wing tip ventilation, and glide.
I previously reviewed the Seven Seas 2022 Version 1200 and 1000 in the foil reviews page.
The 2024 is quite different, I was initially shocked at how different it felt, and pleasantly surprised with the changes.
